Butterfly Garden

True to its name, the Butterfly Garden is designed to attract, retain and encourage populations of native and migratory butterflies. A host of nectar plants are featured in this garden, with the goal of providing both food for butterflies and flowers in continuous bloom throughout the growing season. Host plants provide food for caterpillars and a puddling fountain provides a shallow water source for the butterflies to drink from. Visitors can try to spot different butterfly species or look for plants to attract butterflies to their landscape. This garden is most active with butterflies during the summer and fall months.
