Opening to the Terrace, the Greenhouse is used for display and propagation. Exotic and tropical plants flourish in this environment. The Greenhouse provides an enticing retreat year-round at Botanica. Small pools inside this tropical environment play an important role in healthy garden habitats.
In the Greenhouse, newly planted seedlings grow and exotic species recover from disease and insect damage. See the Hoya’s heart-shaped leaves, the Rabbit’s Foot Fern, Pencil Cactus, Bird of Paradise, Kangaroo Paw Fern and Elephant Foot Tree. In addition to seedlings, cuttings taken from established plants take root. Evening visitors to Botanica enjoy the Epiphyllum Oxypetalum or Night Blooming Cereus Cactus.
