KAKE May 2025

In a recent interview, Botanica’s Executive Director Dr. Lynette Zimmerman shared what’s blooming this May at the gardens. Highlights include the special Mother’s Day event A World of Blooms, a multicultural celebration sponsored by the Botanica Pistils and the Wichita Asian Association, and also featuring a garden expo and plant sale by the Wichita Area Garden Council. Visitors can also look forward to Symphony in the Gardens with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Twilight Tunes on the Terrace every Tuesday, and Rooted in Riverside wellness nights each Thursday. With extended hours from 9 AM to 8 PM and the Glass in Flight 2 exhibit now on display, there’s something for everyone this spring at Botanica.
