About Illuminations
More than 600 volunteers give about 9000 hours annually in support of Illuminations at Botanica.
Illuminations is open for five weeks but is a year-round project for our team. We begin wrapping trees each year in the early fall and use the rest of the time for cleaning, repairs, and planning.
This year's display will feature 2 new areas: a walk-through Gingerbread house on the food truck patio and a new floating pond display.
Having been voted Top 10 Best Light Show in the country, Illuminations is the perfect way to create lasting memories and new traditions with friends and loved ones. With over two million lights, we've incorporated several magical light displays for this year, including our 62-foot Christmas tree that’s programmed with festive images and set to holiday music and our new Candyland walk through with a lit storybook gingerbread house and candy all aglow.
All the favorite Illuminations features will still be viewable including displays such as the Funky Tree, the Meadow Show choreographed to music, and so many more. Before the night is through, don't forget to take a ride on the Khicha Family Carousel for only $3 and visit Santa with your child’s wish list. Hot cocoa, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase at Botanica's concession stand. Adult drinks will be offered for purchase by Bar on Demand as well.
Tickets must be purchased prior to the event online and walk-in tickets will not be available or accepted.
