The Garden on the Rocks

West of the Martha Parriott Terrace Garden, a cascading waterfall leads guests to the Garden on the Rocks.  A collection of low-growing perennials, dwarf shrubs and annuals grow well among the layers of natural rock and stone. Texture abounds in this area, with a profusion of Sedums, Sempervivums, Alpine Plants and Wildflowers interspersed among the rocks.

Designed by Planning Development Services, Inc., the bubbling waterfall fills the pool with conditioned city water, not suitable for fish. The water circulates but does not connect to the larger pond.
